U will be missed Dana!

Dana Marie Hinderberger
26, of Glendale, Arizona, passed away on May 21, 2006.
She was born in Phoenix, AZ to Dennis W. and Kathryn Marie Hinderberger.
She is survived by her parents; daughter Angelina Hinderberger, son Felipe Hernandez and daughter Sabrina Hernandez; sister Christina Hinderberger.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 27th at 10 am with visitation visitation 1 hour prior at Community Church of Joy, 21000 N. 75th Ave., Glendale, AZ.
Interment will follow in Arrowhead Memorial Gardens. Contributions can be made to the Dana Hinderberger children in care of Bank of America.
Arrangements handled by Hansen Arrowhead Funeral Center.
Published in The Arizona Republic on 5/26/2006.
*** I watched Dana grow thru the yrs....from a quirky young girl to someone whose natural maternal instinct amazed me! Dana didnt have it easy being a single mother....but she never viewed it that way. Her 3 beautiful children have been taught right from wrong, how to be polite & respectful, and most of all what a loving extended family is about. It is that same extended family who will now step in to raise them. I guess in this case..."it takes a village" really applies. Saturday morning as I was getting ready for Dana's funeral......all that kept going thru my head was that my friend's Cathy and Dennis were going to be burying their baby....and getting custody to raise their grandbabies.

THE GOOD OLD DAYS DO YOU REMEMBER WHEN...?
All the girls had ugly gym uniforms?
It took five minutes for the TV warm up?
Nearly everyone's Mom was at home when the kids got home from school?
Nobody owned a purebred dog?
When a quarter was a decent allowance?
You'd reach into a muddy gutter for a penny?
Your Mom wore nylons that came in two pieces?
All your male teachers wore neckties and female teachers had their hair done every day and wore high heels?
You got your windshield cleaned, oil checked, and gas pumped, without asking, all for free, every time?
And you didn't pay for air?
And, you got trading stamps to boot?
Laundry detergent had free glasses, dishes or towels hidden inside the box?
It was considered a great privilege to be taken out to dinner at a real restaurant with your parents?
They threatened to keep kids back a grade if they failed. . .and they did?
When a 57 Chevy was everyone's dream car...to cruise, peel out, lay rubber or watch submarine races, and people went steady?
No one ever asked where the car keys were because they were always in the car, in the ignition, and the doors were never locked?
Lying on your back in the grass with your friends and saying things like, "That cloud looks like a ..."
and playing baseball with no adults to help kids with the rules of thegame?
Stuff from the store came without safety caps and hermetic seals because no one had yet tried to poison a perfect stranger?
And with all our progress, don't you just wish, just once, you could slip back in time and savor the slower pace, and share it with the children of today?
When being sent to the principal's office was nothing compared to the fate that awaited the student at home?
Basically we were in fear for our lives, but it wasn't because of drive-by shootings, drugs, gangs, etc. Our parents and grandparents were a much bigger threat!
We survived because their love was greater than the threat.
Send this on to someone who can still remember Nancy Drew,
the Hardy Boys,
Laurel and Hardy,
Howdy Dowdy and the Peanut Gallery,
the Lone Ranger,
The Shadow Knows,
Nellie Bell,
Roy and Dale,
Trigger and Buttermilk.
Summers filled with bike rides,
baseball games,
Hula Hoops,
bowling and visits to the pool,
eating Kool-Aid powder with sugar.
Didn't that feel good, just to go back and say, "Yeah, I remember that"?
How many of these do you remember?
Candy cigarettes.
Wax Coke-shaped bottles with colored sugar water inside.
Soda pop machines that dispensed glass bottles.
Coffee shops with tableside jukeboxes.
Blackjack, Clove and Teaberry chewing gum.
Home milk delivery in glass bottles with cardboard stoppers.
Newsreels before the movie.
P.F. Fliers.
Telephone numbers with a word prefix....(Raymond 4-601).
Party lines
Peashooters.
Howdy Dowdy
45 RPM records.
Green Stamps.
Hi-Fi's
Metal ice cubes trays with levers.
Mimeograph paper.
Beanie and Cecil.
Roller-skate keys.
Cork pop guns.
Drive ins.
Studebakers.
Washtub wringers.
The Fuller Brush Man.
Reel-To-Reel tape recorders.
Tinkertoys Erector Sets.
The Fort Apache Play Set Lincoln Logs.
15 cent McDonald hamburgers.
5 cent packs of baseball cards - with that awful pink slab of bubble gum.
Penny candy.
35 cent a gallon gasoline.
Jiffy Pop popcorn.
Do you remember a time when... Decisions were made by going "eeny-meeny-miney-moe"?
Mistakes were corrected by simply exclaiming, "Do Over!"?
"Race issue" meant arguing about who ran the fastest?
Catching the fireflies could happily occupy an entire evening?
It wasn't odd to have two or three "Best Friends"?
The worst thing you could catch from the opposite sex was "cooties"?
Having a weapon in school meant being caught with a slingshot?
A foot of snow was a dream come true?
Saturday morning cartoons weren't 30-minute commercials for actionfigures?
"Oly-oly-oxen-free" made perfect sense?
Spinning around, getting dizzy, and falling down was cause for giggles?
The worst embarrassment was being picked last for a team?
War was a board game?
Kids nowadays are really missing out!
THE GOOD OLD DAYS
Pass it along.....I double dare U!

I filled up......WTF!

Genghis Khunt
Random Brutal Sex Master (RBSMf)

We almost called you Brutus the Uterus and attached this picture:

But we figured you wouldn't understand, and rightly so. We don't understand either. So you are Genghis Khunt: master of man, bringer of pain--riding your way to conquest after conquest.

Your sexual avarice is legendary. You've already had an unusually high amount of experience, and, still you look for more. You intimidate many. You make no apologies.

Your exact opposite:
The Sonnet

Deliberate Gentle Love Dreamer
Personality-wise, you're carefree and relatively easy-going. You don't plan things out ahead of time; you tend to live in the moment. Of course, this can cause some damage when the moment happens to include a screaming orgasm with his younger brother. Hence the 'brutal' tag we've given you.

But you know what, take five seconds to lock the doors, and you'll be fine. There's nothing wrong with a little sex, or a whole lot.

Tagged by LEESA :) With the letter L.If you would like to participate?..... Just comment on this entry and I will give you a letter. Write ten words beginning with that letter in your BLOG, including an explanation of what the word means to you and why, and then pass out letters to those who follow your lead on your BLOG =).

SO….. my letter is L

LOVE:
The answer to everything….unconditional love. Not that easy to do, I must admit! But something I am striving for.

LICK:
Its been way toooo long since I have licked anything like an ice-cream cone that

WASN’T an ice-cream cone and that’s all I’m sharing on that word!

LUCIDITY:
That stage inbetween sleeping and dreaming, when I often find I’m not sure which is which. I think it has to do with my sleeping with the TV on…I tend to get my dreams and whatever is on the tele muddled together. It sure makes for some interesting adventures.

LOQUACIOUS:
I tend to be rather loquacious or don’t speak at all in extreme situations. Either I’m too nervous to participate or I find myself talking to anyone about everything just to talk…and share perspectives. Some people have told me I scared them the first time I met them because of this tendency but then later as they got to know me better, understood its just the way I interact and learn. Over the years, I have tried to tone it down in “new people” situations so as not to scare anyone (even tho Im dying to learn about them and pick their brain so to speak)!!

LOON:
Growing up I went to summer camp for approx. 6-8 wks of the summer. I enjoyed it beyond belief!..... As an adult I find myself missing the sounds of the loons over the lake at nite

LANGUID:
This word has a special meaning to me as it reminds me of a wild time in my past when a girlfriend and I would do our weekend travels or short day trips. On one trip particular….for some reason (mood altering drugs I seem to recall ) this word became her style, her mood, her attitude and her reason for being as the nite progressed! LOL Now as we have to say to each other is “blah blah blah sure is languid …huh?” and the giggles start all over again. I miss those days!

LISTEN:
Something I pride myself on…is my listening skills and my strange (some have called it irritating) ability to recite a conversation back ver batim…..(usually during a debate or argument)…….I wish more people really listened … and didn’t give ear-service to people who are talking.

LAUGH:
NO better medicine than laughter…. I especially love the sound of babies laughter… you know when they actually sound fake…its so cute…….I also enjoy hearing a really loud contagious laugh when it happens in the most inappropriate moments! I usually can’t resist joining in.

LIMBER:
This word reminds me to get back to my yoga practice. Not just the sun-salutations and other bodybending poses…..but also to limber my mind muscles! Since the PhD (I talk as if it has a life of its own …LOL) I haven’t been able to take the time I used to to just explore….in bookstores….indie films….performances, daytrips. I am really looking forward to finishing my dissertation and getting back into my life!

Okay……..if you want to play …..just tell me …and I will give U a letter to create 10 word –related experiences for us to read!

Peace- out …my BF’s

Sad News among Musings Furkids

For those of U who have been following the sad news of my Rottie Prosche getting ill with valley fever, and her struggles over the last month or so with being ill, I'm sad to report she passed away yesterday.

I know it was for the best and shes at peace now....but its still so hard to break that habit of morning kisses and treats. The valley fever moved thru her very quickly and seemed to just eat her alive. Im not so sure the valley fever was the only issue affecting her health. Her once very strong and chubby rottie self was so skinny and weak towards the end.

Interestingly enough though....she came to me in a dream the morning before....she was her healthly self....and happy...playing with her little minpin sisters in the sun in the backyard. Then I remember her snuggling me before turning and running into the sun.

I expected when I woke up to go outside and see her laying in the yard already gone, but she was up and sitting with her sister. I guess I wasnt surprised when I got home that she had passed. We buried her last nite next to Rocket in her favorite lounging point of view in the planter boxes. I bet she is busy catching up with Ms. Fontaine who passed over last month and my little Yorkie Rocket who we buried about 4 yrs ago.

Blessed Be Porsche......We Love & Miss U!

Well. with that said........

Now that its PUB-BLIC (said in honor of Ron White being thrown into PUB-BLIC), that my BLOG owns 62.5% of me.......I guess I better be a little more diligent in my postings??

Yes...as of late....I've been a bit....(olay quite a bit) lax in this dept. Getting used to actually having to get my arse out of my big comfortable bed and kiss my axiety ridden babies goodbye for the day......and be somewhere with regularity....is EXHAUSTING!!!

Friday, I was ready to get some serious Six-Sigma Shit done....and the "desktop support" person was in my cube futzing with my machine.........he showed me how he loaded all the lastest bells and whistles and upgrades and tottled off to his next victim.

After getting my self a HUGE cup of java and a healthy carrot bran muffin.....I settled in to start crankin away at the 05-06 trending analysis........

BUT NO!!!!.....my 'puter returned a nasty error stating I wasnt able to blah blah blah blah blah until the blah blah blah blah was rebooted and the blah blah blah was reconfigged to .....yada yada yada yada......

so the rest of my day was spent trying to download into my new 5G zipstick

from my teammates 'puter and then trying to work around the shite that was going on inside mine as I waited for "mr deskstop support" to come back and fix what he futzed!!! I love this new zippy drive........ I've been able to transfer all my other three zips to this one and still have buttloads of space available.........and technology being what it is these days.....I got this one for 80.00 where previously I have spent 40.00 for 1/2 GB. ....well it also lights up in the middle all-pretty-like when its working......

New York support even responded to the tech ticket my director opened to try and resolve the issues. His ending statement was "well, I he shouldnt have configed you this way......or done this or that ....and Im not fixing his mess....Im pushing this ticket bacsk to him so he can clean up his mess" .....

who wants to take a vote on whether my computer ills were fixed by EOD?????

Dont hold your breath......I went home long before I even heard from that guy again.........Im hoping that hes there over the weekend and all will be well in the Kingdom of M on monday.....or the minions will be dealing with the rath of PrincessM!!!!

Surprised ...but not really.....
