ok....how good does it feel to get an email like this from your boss?? :

I understand how you work.
I also understand your intelligence level,
experience,
and work ethic.
You have been with the organization for a long time
and understand the interworkings of the enterprise.
I am glad you took the feedback the right way.
You are needed in a lot of different areas.
I just want to make sure that we get your work in front of people.

It was in response to my previous email where I had expressed:

Morning XXXXXXX....
I just wanted to let U know ......I heard U =)
& appreciate you stopping by yesterday.

It means alot to me to know
U have confidence in my work,
my line of thinking,
and trust that I will have the integrity to keep our conversations private.

I know my demeanor is casual.....
I imagine others wonder if I even hear them sometimes.....lol

The brain is always 3 steps ahead....
looking at life from all angles so as to be prepared for whatever comes my way.

I think in that process, I may come across as dismissive?
....arrogant?
....or cold, noncaring.
I am aware and working on it....=)

as for your message yesterday.....
I do want to succeed...
I want the project, the team and U to succeed as well!

Nothing would be better than to know my boss' boss's boss....
and my boss's boss,
are happy with their decision to have me on the team.

Most importantly, to know they recognized that I stepped up and delivered.
