Saturday nite....
Zoe & I had a chance to see & catch up w/ some old friends =)
well....it was a first time meeting for the luvbuglet, but a reunion of sorts for me...
Paul ( guy on left) invited me to his little holiday get together.......

((qualifier included for those who know...KNOW Pauly & his obsession w/ redheads.....wink wink nudge nudge))
also celebrates the Sabbats (Winter Solstice).....I really enjoyed meeting her & comparing Pagan notes....
I am hoping the relationship goddess continues to smile down upon them......
as Paulie seems rather smitten w/ her!!

Some other people I used to work with thru the 16yrs or so w/ XXXX were there......
& because there were enough of us from the Beardsley campus....
naturally...
conversations turned to people & events over the yrs.
It is interesting how things seem to stay the same regardless of time...
I think its been almost 4 yrs since Denise, Tim & I worked together........but had NO problem catching up on all the goings on.
As usual w/ Paulies parties......the drinks were flowing, the bonfire was roaring .......& much laughter was heard.
DeWayne (the other guy in the tiny photo)
has known Pauly for I think they said something like 17 yrs?
They lived together as roomies in the early 90's.
In addition to the stories I heard re Paul,
I think what stood out for me, about them......
was their ability to maintain a friendship for that long.
Listening to them tell stories,
I will say,
It doesn't seem to be any different for guys......LOL
Honestly
I miss having that in a girlfriend.
Yes, I have friends here in AZ who I hang with on occassion.
But I think the longest relationship I have which compares to what Paul & DeWayne have.....only goes back 7 or 8 yrs.
anyway......I asked Paul to email me the rest of the digitals taken.......
I will add them (er.....those that I feel COMFORTABLE adding ........LOL)
& yes.....BLU??...the Zoester wore her new Party Sweater
& was da bomb diggity!!!
