'Mile' stones, Mountain Views & the Bikini Quandry
Today.....I decided to take an early morning escape from the drudgery of 'U know what"....the 'D'.

Stubeans (single, successful, quirky-sense of humor) friend of mine =) (yeah....he's gonna hate me advertising his need for a women)....has invested in another home to flip. Its at the base of South Mountain.......cute 3 bedroom 2.5 bath 2 story.
On the way down to meet the inspector & realtor who listed the property.....Stu's car had the 100,000 milestone! It took him 5 yrs to achieve this in his Subaru (the one I made fun of during its need to be jumped ...um...3 nites in a row!!!). My little jeep (that I have driven since Turkey day '92) took 12 yrs to achieve that same milestone. Being the DORKS that we are.....we celebrated this event via picty's.

After spending 2 hours waiting for the inspector to crawl into & around all the available inspectable spots in the house.....since we were at the base of South Mountain, we decided to drive up to the top. Now, I am NOT the type to get motion sickness.....but that winding road to the top of South Mountain almost did me in! Its been probably 8-10 yrs since I have done the drive ...& I was amazed at how much the valley's housing & general human occupancy has expanded. It scares me to think of how much this valley can take before we are seriously dealing with water shortage. If you golf at all, you are aware of the excessive number of 'top' courses (along with the resorts they are attached to) we sport here in the valley. I guess I will be planning a move within the next ten yrs or less to avoid dealing.
Not sure if it was altitude sickness....or the winding road that caused our conversation to turn to the quandary Stuart & I have been pondering for the last month. I'm sure you have seen the yoplait commercial where the main character is getting ready for bikini season .....& her 'polka-dot' bikini is showcased thru-out the commercial. Now.....dear readers..... please assist us in solving this STUPID question. Is it a yellow bikini with pink dots?.......or a pink bikini with yellow dots? Inquiring minds want to know!
