Considering that I am home with an unhappy digestive track (but on the up side?...feeing REALLY skinny)...I digress....The casual smile that will last just a little longer?.....perhaps the UPS guy will bring my drugstore.com order?.....or the little puppy steps so I dont have to 'rescue' Zoe each time she wants up, down, up, down, up.....well U get the picture. Okay.....Just what information I learned a long time ago is going to be of critical importance?......& evidently I apply it today & reap the rewards today as well =)
**EDIT no 2.......okay...so...I was supposed to remember something I learned a long time ago......(yup...4 yrs...check check)....Of critical importance?....VERY....Was it useless or trivial when I learned it?......useless....no....trivial?...I thought so...LOL .
What was it U ask?!? It was one of His Holiness the Dalai Lama's teachings I attended in California 4+ yrs ago on Expectations.......the lesson?......Basically learn to accept "as is" ..."the moment".......& most importantly?.....Expectations lead to disappointment. mmmmmm...seems easy enough.... I think I am practicing this currently in my life . Until today when I ran smack dab into the middle of a nest of expectations! It was very calmly pointed out to me ........that even tho the information I was communicating was sound advice ......it was my delivery that gave the impression of cold hard expectations or they were wrong !.....This was NOT the message I was trying to convey........but I had to accept I was coming across as all-knowing ....book smartass---who didnt know her real life experiences from PhD 101 case studies...... I hope I was able to fix my errors .....& communicated that I saw this person headed for some heart ache. Exactly what I did not want for them.......they have had enough.
...........Okay....2 down .......1 to go......(but in reality ......what I learned today about ommunication style fits the third aspect of this horoscope!............we shall see...huh?)

You might have more fun talking about things today than actually doing them, but the job that needs to be done has a definite timeline. Stretching your imagination is no substitute for hard work and application.
So......Saturday appears to be a fun filled day as well for me!.......OBVIOUSLY this applies to my Dissertation Efforts (& apparently the recent lack there of) TIME to get Chapters submitted to my committee chair!

Do you do it the day before so subconsciously you experience a self-prophecy?.....or do U check it the day of?.....to see if you need to take the umbrella, take a different route to work, or call that person who suddenly pops in your head? Those of U who say horoscopes are poppycock?.........U are the same people (Kat...) who read your horoscope from the day before .......just to reinforce it's poppycockedness (or is that poppycockiness?)!! LOL All Im saying is....dont ignore that little voice in your head throughout the day .....it does know you better than you want to accept !~~~~~

***EDIT....okay....its 2:30 in the afternoon..........yes...drugstore.com AND the little puppy stairs arrived......HOWEV-AH!.......NO long lasting casual smile from the UPS person.....(notice I said person?....they did a ding-dong ditch it).....and ran to the truck!......nice ass tho....AGHH!
