WOW....thats at least a pr or shoes & a bag or two!


“This MONSTER was found between Mobile and Daphne, on the causeway crossing Mobile Bay. Game wardens were forced to shoot the alligator.
Anita and Charlie of the Oyster House could hear the bellowing in the night.
Their patrons had been telling them that they had seen a mammoth alligator in the waterway that runs behind their restaurant, but they dismissed the stories as exaggerations. "I didn't believe it," Charlie said.
Friday (5/19/06) they realized the stories were, if anything, understated. Alabama Fish
and Wildlife game wardens had to shoot the beast. In the picture above Joe Goff, a 6'5" tall game warden walks past the 23-foot, 1-inch alligator that he shot and killed on the causeway.”

I know....that was sad.....the report didnt say anything about it snagging little furkids or humans !!.....I thought they shouldve just relocated it. But then again.....no one asked me...LOL

Poor Al E. Gator! They almost always shoot them, although sometimes they will release them to an area that is removed from humans but they often come back to their old haunts.
